Depthcore XLIII - 'TIME'The Depthcore Collective is proud to release it's 43rd themed chapter exhibition, "TIME". As we near our 10th anniversary, this seems to be an appropriate subject for us as a collective to reflect upon. Ten years have passed by, and the students and teenagers who once populated the group are gone, replaced by full time freelance artists, independent small-business owners and focussed creative professionals. Finding the time (oh, the puns are endless with this theme) to create these Chapters has become increasingly difficult.
And yet, here we are, with one of our largest collections in the past few years. It certainly came together slowly - after the excitement of our presentation at OFFF and our first exhibition here in New York City the come down from the highs of travelling and showing to the reality of starting over to create a

Depthcore XLII - OBSOLETEFrom the official press release...
'OBSOLETE'. A perfect Chapter theme across many fronts. On the most obvious level, it is a dense subject, open to artistic interpretation in many ways. Our members used the Chapter as a platform to examine the chronological relevancy of topics ranging from the environment to humanity to technology, and made artwork across a timeline encompassing past, future and present to show the effects of decay and progress of the relationship between these prime entities. It's release coincides with our first major presentation at OFFF 2011, a festival coincidentally entitled 'Year Zero' that concerned itself with forgetting an obsolete past, in order to forge a new future. 'OBSOLETE' also marks our 42nd Chapter, and with it the end of the web medium having a stranglehold on our exhibitions, as we partner with deviantART to produce our first commercial publications.

Depthcore XLI - MirrorThe Depthcore Collective is proud to release it's 41st themed chapter exhibition, "MIRROR".
This chapter features over seventy carefully considered and meticulously executed pieces produced by a diverse selection of members from the collective. The submissions, as varied in content as they are in style, revolve around central themes of introspection, self reflection and contemplation of man and his environment, and are spread across several mediums, including music, photography, illustration and digital painting.
The Chapter sees several debut pieces, including first offerings from new artists Sougwen Chung and Tony Rivera, as well as a couple of homecoming pieces from long time members Heiko Klug and James Wignall.
Depthcore XL - MythicThe Depthcore Collective is proud to releases it's 40th themed chapter exhibition, 'MYTHIC'.
One of our most thematic relevant Chapters ever, 'MYTHIC' is the result of five months of careful planning, research and stylistic experimentation from the collective. The slow creative process has resulted in a Chapter that has been meticulously crafted, workshopped from sketches through to completed pieces, thoroughly taking advantage of the collaborative collective experience. Several of the pieces presented in this collection were composed over the course of several months, taking on board feedback from our artist base at each stage of completion to try and fully realize their full potential, and ultimately create a Chapter that is carefully considered, conceptualized and executed.
This chapter features several stunning contributions from the wonderfully t
Depthcore XXXIX - EveFrom the News Article...
The Depthcore Collective is proud to release it's 39th themed chapter exhibition, 'EVE'.
In this Chapter, artists both old and new have submitted their interpretations of a concept that greatly excited us as a collective from the moment it was first suggested. Our members have created over eighty original pieces, including strong showings across all mediums, examining and interpreting the theme to produce work that deals predominately with time and transition; calms before storms, moments before change, instants before impact.
Whilst there are many highlights to the chapter, there are a couple of items of especial note. 'EVE' has seen multiple wonderful debuts, including incredible submissions from Larisa Glushakova,

This book has been produced as a promotional item, and is not currently for sale. It is immaculately produced, featuring over 100 pages of perfectly bound and beautifully printed artwork. The title page is signed by the collective's Creative Director, Justin Maller.

Depthcore XXXVII - Freestyle IVFrom The News Article...
Today, The Depthcore Collective is pleased to release our 38th exhibition, our fourth freestyle body of work creatively entitled 'Freestyle IV'.
As more and more of our members continue to embark on creative careers, having a relaxed, unguided outlet for creativity becomes more and more important. This Chapter is comprised of the personal experimental output of our increasingly professional roster; the results are arresting in both their technical execution and the sheer amount of imagination used in their conceptualization. As so often happens during the creation of our Chapters, the artists continue to push each other harder and harder as times progresses during the creative process, with the end outcome being something we are all quite proud of.
It is also our collective pleasure (pardon the pun) to feature long time member and superlative artistic force David Masch

The 'FNAF Sister Location' Anti-Hate RantOK, so everyone should have seen Scott's new teaser by now.
I was not going to write about this originally (so forgive me for rushing this journal), since I figured that literally everyone knows about the news by now, but the way people are announcing it and reacting to it disturbs me. I thought we were better than this, but I guess not.
Literally everywhere I go today, everyone I've seen is spamming memes like and saying that Scott is milking the series and beating a dead horse. Even people who have "left" the FNAF fandom and have decided to pop back in just to put in their discouraging, even hating, opinions. It's so bad, that I feel people are hating JUST because it has become cool to hate, as some kind of herd mentality.
Well guess what? It doesn't matter what anyone thinks! Scott is clearly going to do what Scott is going to do! The amount of hate th

For the past month, me and Negyek were hard at work, day and night, to finish Missing Halloween. Later on, Procrastacat and VenBright were hired to give various voices for the ending scene. All of these are, of course, paid jobs, thanks to my Patreon supporters.
By November 29, the animation is officially done. All 8+ minutes of it.
